BC Parent Writer's Guidelines

1. BC Parent is looking for cutting-edge articles about today's parenting issues.
   
   
2. We don't publish stories for children.
   
   
3. We don't accept simultaneous submissions.
   
   
4. We do publish reprints.
   
   
5. We accept e-mail queries. Please, no phone call queries.
   
   
6. We get a lot of submissions. Please be patient; it can take us up to two months to respond to a submission.
   
   
7. Stories will be edited for length, style and clarity.
   
   
8. Story length varies from 500 - 1000 words.
   
   
9. Submissions must include a cover page with writer's name, mailing address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address.
   
   
10. We prefer to receive stories by email. To send your article by email save as Rich Text Format (e.g., "article.rtf"), and send as an attachment to the editor.
    
    
11. If you don't have access to email, save it on an IBM formatted disk and send to: Sasamat RPO 72086, Vancouver, BC, V6R 4P2. Thank you for your interest and cooperation!
